MEET HILDE JAMIESON-GHESQUIÈRE
Functional Neurofeedback Practice Director
For more than a decade, Hilde Jamieson-Ghesquière has helped adults and children improve focus, emotional regulation, cognitive performance, and overall brain function through individualized qEEG-guided neurofeedback training.
Hilde Jamieson serves as Neurofeedback Practice Director at Jamieson Health Center, where she oversees qEEG brain mapping, protocol design, progress monitoring, and neurofeedback training programs.
Her role extends beyond conducting brain maps. She analyzes qEEG findings, develops individualized training protocols, monitors clinical progress, and adjusts training strategies as brain function changes over time.
Her goal is simple: help each individual understand how their brain is functioning and create a personalized path toward better regulation and performance.
A UNIQUE BACKGROUND
Before entering the health field, Hilde spent more than 20 years in technology, consulting, and executive leadership roles, including senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard.
Her background as a consultant shaped the way she approaches neurofeedback today.
She believes every individual requires a thorough assessment, a clear understanding of goals, a personalized strategy, and ongoing measurement of progress.
This analytical and highly individualized approach became the foundation of the neurofeedback program she developed at Jamieson Health Center.
EXPERTISE IN qEEG BRAIN MAPPING
Hilde has worked alongside Dr. Samuel Jamieson since 2007 and has focused on neurofeedback and qEEG analysis since 2010.
She studied under the mentorship of Dr. Richard Soutar, one of the early pioneers in functional neurofeedback and qEEG brain mapping.
Over the years, she has analyzed thousands of brain maps and continues to participate in advanced education focused on neurofeedback technology, brain network function, and emerging clinical applications.
AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH TO BRAIN TRAINING
Hilde believes that no two brains are the same.
Rather than relying on symptom-based protocols, she uses information from qEEG brain mapping, clinical history, performance goals, and individual circumstances to develop personalized training plans.
These plans may consider:
Attention and focus patterns
Emotional regulation
Stress resilience
Sleep quality
Learning and cognitive performance
History of injury or concussion
Developmental factors
The goal is not simply symptom management, but helping the brain develop healthier and more efficient patterns of function.
ADVANCED PROTOCOL DESIGN
One of the unique aspects of Hilde's work is the ongoing refinement of neurofeedback protocols based on objective brain data.
Rather than using a fixed training approach, protocols are updated as new information becomes available through:
qEEG brain mapping
progress tracking
cognitive performance measures
clinical response to training
Recent work has included the use of advanced network analysis methods to identify key functional brain networks and guide individualized training strategies.
This allows neurofeedback plans to evolve as brain regulation changes over time, helping ensure that training remains aligned with the individual's current needs and goals.
BEYOND THE BRAIN MAP
Hilde's work extends beyond data analysis and protocol development.
She works closely with patients throughout the training process to monitor progress, adjust protocols when appropriate, and help individuals understand the changes they are experiencing.
Patients often appreciate her ability to combine technical expertise with a practical and supportive approach.
INTEGRATING BRAIN AND BODY
In addition to neurofeedback, Hilde is an Applied Clinical Nutritionist and has extensive experience helping individuals understand how lifestyle, nutrition, stress, and physiology influence brain function.
When appropriate, she collaborates with Dr. Jamieson to help identify factors that may be affecting neurological performance and overall health.
Her perspective is that optimal brain function is supported not only by brain training, but also by creating an environment that allows the brain and body to function at their best.
PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY
Hilde is passionate about helping individuals reach their potential.
Whether working with children facing learning challenges, adults managing stress and anxiety, or professionals seeking peak performance, her focus remains the same:
understand the individual, identify what is limiting function, and create a plan that supports meaningful and lasting improvement.
