Meet Dr. Samuel R. Jamieson
Chiropractic - Nutrition -
Neurofeedback
Dr. Samuel Jamieson is the director of
the Jamieson Health Center, an integrative chiropractic and
neurofeedback clinic offering functional medicine and neurofeedback brain
training in San Jose, California. As a holistic doctor, he integrates
chiropractic care with nutrition and emotional health. He recommends
neurofeedback brain training if you want to function at your optimal level.
His focus is on addressing the needs of both body and brain.
The goal of Dr. Jamieson is to help as
many people as possible live a healthy quality life without using drugs. He
specializes in chronic and challenging patients suffering from immune,
endocrine and neurological disorders.
Dr. Jamieson attended Palmer College of
Chiropractic-West in San Jose, and graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic
degree in 1997. He has post-graduate
certifications in Applied Kinesiology (AK), Applied Clinical Nutrition and various
other techniques. He is currently pursuing a diplomat degree in Functional
Neurology. He has been in private practice since 1997.
Dr. Jamieson uses an integrative but
personalized approach to health care. He believes in finding the underlying
causes of your condition, not in treating isolated symptoms. He believes that stress and what you eat and breathe
can affect your health. Therefore, he is
focused on identifying and removing any structural, biochemical
(malnutrition & toxins) and emotional interferences in your brain and body.
Dr. Jamieson takes a whole body
approach to health by balancing all the body’s systems through the
combination of modern diagnostic methods such as saliva and serum tests,
qEEG brain mapping and holistic healing modalities. His focus is on
prevention through nutrition, diet, and exercise.
He uses an integrative protocol
combining Applied Kinesiology, Neuro Emotional
Technique (NET), Total Body Modification (TBM), Nutrition Response Testing
(NRT), Retained Primitive Reflex Integration, Proprioceptive-Deep
Tendon Reflex (P-DTR) and Myofascial Release
amongst other techniques. He recommends Advanced Nneurofeedback
brain training to optimize your brain function and for patients suffering
from chronic emotional, learning and/or stress related conditions.
Dr. Jamieson has taken a range of
specialized classes on how to treat conditions like Attention Deficit
Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autistic
Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), Adrenal
Fatigue, Auto-immune Disorders and male and female disorders such as
infertility, perimenopause and andropause. He specializes in identifying and
correcting brain, neurotransmitter and hormonal imbalances.
Dr. Jamieson is an active member of the
ICAK, the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He is certified by
the ICAK and as a Professional in Applied Kinesiology.

Dr. Jamieson was initially introduced
to chiropractic during college after being involved in an auto accident
that left him with neck and back pain and headaches. The chiropractic care made a tremendous
difference and helped relieve his pain.
After graduating from San Jose State University, in San Jose, CA
with a degree in Accounting, he worked for one of the eight largest
certified public accounting firms in the world and was licensed as a CPA
in 1989. While in college and
later working as a CPA, he was active in sports, especially in volleyball
at which he competed at the highest amateur level in the U.S.
Dr. Jamieson feels that chiropractic
care is what allowed him to play sports at his peak efficiency by keeping
his body properly aligned. While
going to the chiropractor, Dr. Jamieson became intrigued by the way
chiropractic care was helping him and so many other people stay healthy
without drugs and surgery, and he decided to change careers and become a
chiropractor himself.

Seeking integrative approaches to be
able to help more difficult patients and those suffering from chronic
conditions, Dr. Jamieson decided to study Applied Kinesiology (AK) in 2004.
He now integrates other techniques with AK. He believes that his integrative
protocol helps him to heal patients faster and more effectively and they
don’t have to come in as often – this means faster results in less visits.
Dr. Jamieson is continually studying to
be able to offer you the newest and best in functional medicine, functional
neurology and integrative health care.
He regularly takes continuing education classes to keep up-to-date
on the latest techniques, research, clinical studies and advancements. He is currently enrolled at the Carrick
Institute of Neurology for a post-doctorate degree in Functional Neurology.
