We are also
looking for a Neurofeedback Technician/Therapist
to support our growing Advanced Neurofeedback
practice. This role is part-time, hours vary.

JOB OPENING: Practice Assistant
An integrative health clinic in San Jose,
operating on Christian principles, needs a Practice
Assistant to provide a wide area of administrative support duties. The
mission of our practice is to help adults and children in the Bay Area and
beyond live healthier quality lives without the use of drugs. We specialize
in helping chronic patients suffering from immune, endocrine and
neurological disorders.
Roles &
Responsibilities
Job
duties include, but are not limited to:
·
managing all patient-facing
interactions including answering phones
·
scheduling patient appointments
·
welcoming and managing existing
and new patients
·
taking patient’s vital signs
·
checking out patients and collecting
for services rendered
·
verifying insurance coverage
·
insurance billing, managing and
reconciling claims and EOBs
·
keeping track of and accounting
for daily collections and services
·
data entry, word processing
·
filing
·
monitoring status of and ordering
office supplies and supplements
·
assisting with Neurofeedback
therapy, when needed
Required skills,
abilities and education
·
Must have
a friendly, engaging and caring attitude with excellent people and
listening skills.
·
Will be
in charge of front office requiring good organizational and multi-tasking
skills. The ability to work unsupervised is essential.
·
Must be
comfortable administering
physical hands-on neurofeedback therapy to adults
and children
·
Must be computer savvy and proficient using MS
Windows computers and laptops, Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel,
Outlook, etc. Must be familiar with
patient management and billing systems. Must have worked with essential
office machines like printer, fax, copier.
·
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
·
Prior administrative office, medical billing and/or
accounting experience preferred
Salary range: $12 - $17 per
hour based on experience; free integrative chiropractic treatments for
immediate family, discount on supplements and neurofeedback
therapy for immediate family.
Part time: Mondays,
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30pm to 1:30pm and 2:30pm to 6:30pm.

JOB OPENING: Neurofeedback
Technician/Therapist
The
Jamieson Health Center, a Christian Integrative Health Practice operating
on Christian principles, is seeking to hire a neurofeedback
technician/therapist to support their growing Advanced Neurofeedback
practice. Our mission is to help adults and children in the Bay Area and
beyond live healthier quality lives without the use of drugs. We specialize
in patients suffering from depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, autistic spectrum
disorders, learning disabilities.
Roles
and Responsibilities:
·
Administers qEEG guided neurofeedback brain training and brain entrainment to
adults and children with emotional, learning and stress related disorders
·
Assumes responsibility for the execution of the Neurofeedback training plan
·
Coordinates scheduling of appointments and keeps
track of sessions delivered to plan
·
Selects neurofeedback
protocols based on patient’s qEEG brain map
·
Adjusts patient’s neurofeedback
protocols to maximize effectiveness of training
·
Manages patients and their progress
·
Keeps track of patient’s dietary changes affecting
their brain and changes in medication use
·
Tracks, charts and monitors patient’s training
sessions and symptomatic progress
·
Reviews patient progress and training effectiveness
with practice manager
Required
skills, abilities and education:
·
AA/BA/BS or pursuing AA/BA/BS in psychology or
counseling
·
Aligned with our integrative practice philosophy
and functional medicine
·
Excellent listening skills
·
Strong verbal and written communication skills
·
Excellent interpersonal relationship, facilitation,
and service management skills.
·
Can work independently and loves responsibility
·
Strong multi-tasking skills
·
Strong organizational and planning skills
·
Feels comfortable with hands-on therapy
·
Computer savvy and proficient in navigating Windows
7 environments and applications such as MS Office
Other
skills and abilities desired:
·
Experience working with children, adolescents and
adults with neurological or neurodevelopmental
conditions.

Understanding of neurophysiology and neuroanatomy
·
Understanding of how nutrition affects the brain
·
Understanding of herbs and psychopharmacology
·
Understanding of EEG brain waves and functions
·
Understanding of or experience with qEEG brain mapping
·
Understanding of or experience with qEEG guided neurofeedback
brain training
Salary
range: $13
- $20 per hour based on experience; free integrative treatments for
immediate family, discount on supplements and neurofeedback
therapy for immediate family.
Part
time:
Flexible hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am to
2pm and 3pm to 6:30pm.
San
Jose Westgate area.
